Luang Pu had Himself mentioned once..... One day if He's no longer around, one may use this or the Baht Nam Muon (Holy Water Bowl) to create holy water or Nam Muon to clear our bad luck, improve Maha Saneh etc etc.
Real pieces are hardly available because many actual pieces were all used by various temples or practicing Kalawats to create Holy Water themselves and had deteriorated by water.
