Bpeun Tek literally means gun broke or in this case, exploded.

This whole batch consists of 11 different moulds or designs. Rumoured to be 13, probably inclusive of some made to be given freely to volunteers after the ceremony.

A seriously grand ceremony was held and whole batch was made entirely out of old amulets material brought forth by the various temples involved.

Most importantly, it was said to contain the highest amount of Actual Roop Luang Phor Ngern that were consecrated by Luang Phor Ngern. Each values at millions and millions of baht.

The first miraculous incident occurred during the beginning of the ceremony. The whole lot of materials meant to be smelted refused to budge no matter how hard many tried. Abbot of Wat Ban Klang had to do a small special prayers to get "permission" from Phor Ngern. Only then did they successfully moved the whole lot to the smelting area.

Second incident was halfway thru the high heated smelting process, most metals were already liquified but the various actual Roop Luang Phor Ngern refused and stayed intact. Again, a prayer was done and in front of all present, it finally melted under high heat.

The third actually happened after everyone had happily went home. 2 friends, one with the just consecrated 2528 batch were drinking and after getting tipsy, they talked about how great their amulets were and in their drunken state, it evolved into a heated argument. Long story short, the other guy actually drew his gun to challenge and the guy with the 2528 accepted (stupidly). True enough, trigger was pulled twice, gun refused to fire a shot. When the 3rd time trigger was pulled, the gun actually exploded, probably in the chamber and his palm sustained pretty bad injuries.

Hence the batch name "Bpeun Tek"

Hence my all time favorite. Also because the material and method used to create uses exactly how Luang Phor Ngern had done during His day. Each amulet, though not too old, had that beautiful material aging look that really captured my eyes.

🌟 This is Pim Sien Toh Lek. Looks exactly like the more popular Sien Toh but smaller thus the "Lek"

One of the more popular mould is called Sien Toh or Sien Toh Yant Kamagan

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0570/2461/0477/files/rn-image_picker_lib_temp_c0b82414-56b6-4e3d-99ce-740a7c511452.jpg?v=1744286556
