There's a few ways to distinguish between a Fake but I'll leave that for another rainy day.  Recently, fake makers have been using "special equipment" to copy out from a real piece and could retain almost 100% of it's size which is a big headache. Luckily there are few ways including the most difficult one which is recognizing it's unique material (Muon San)

Gumanthong of Ajahn Pleang is predicted to rise MUCH MUCH FARTHER. Even many years ago, when I advise my clients of this, I didn't expect to be that far

Guman are highly popular especially from Masters who are actually from this lineage is because we could actually ask for it's Help when encountering some problems or obstacles etc.
